“In Nueces Justice, Mark Greathouse paints, for his readers, an exciting, fast-moving tale of the Texas frontier. The Nueces Strip of the1850s could be a terrifically dangerous place. Greathouse does a great job of painting the essence of the inhabitants of the area, both the “good” guys and the “bad” with great acumen. In protagonist Luke Dunn, Mark Greathouse captures the embodiment of the Texas Rangers of that period. A fast-paced read well deserving of a sequel.”

“Nueces Justice...In a time when so few westerns are being written comes Mark Greathouse! If you like Louis L’Amour style westerns you will love this one. Set in South Texas in the 1850s, this book grabs your attention from the first paragraph. I found myself book in one hand and a sandwich in the other because I couldn’t put it down. The story features a great cast of believable characters including transplanted Irishman “Luke Dunn”. The Texas Ranger will transport you to a time when justice was only dispensed from a barrel of a gun. The best thing about this book is it’s going to be the first in a series called “THE TUMBLEWEED SAGAS” and I can’t wait to read the next one.”
